Nature and art: This Sunday at #DLD12, DJ Spooky aka Paul Miller sent out an “Antartic Flow” alongside musicians from Munich - powered by his free iPhone/iPad app called “DJ Spooky”.

The artist, musician and writer in his short but engaging demonstration went into the history of sound, landscape photography and the Antartica. He also reffered to M.C. Escher’s “Relativity” whose work had a strong mathematical component, and geometric distortion (tension, chaos, loops).

The principle behind the “DJ Spooky” app is that there is no band, no artist - just bits and pieces to combine into the live remix, “Antarctic Flow”. “While the digital media is reshaping the 21st century, imagination is the ultimate renewable resource”, were his final words on stage.

"Imagination is the ultimate renewable resource."
